Lingua Slam

Lingua Slam is an academic arena where participants present their original research in the fields of linguistics, intercultural communication, communication psychology, and international relations. The format of the event allows each slammer to share their ideas in an engaging, accessible, and creative way.
The rules are simple:
The competition consists of three stages:
The winner of the competition is traditionally chosen by the audience through applause.
Following the event, the best research projects will be recommended for publication in the international peer-reviewed academic journal "Vestnik Sovremennoy Nauki. Seriya: Studencheskiye Nauki".
Participation is completely free of charge!

- Each presentation must not exceed 10 minutes;
- There are no language restrictions;
- No boring lectures or overly complicated terminology – only compelling ideas presented in a way that is clear and engaging for a broad audience.

- Online Selection Round. Participants present their research ideas in a convenient online format.
- On-site Educational Intensive. Participants attend workshops on public speaking and acting skills, as well as communication practice sessions using modern VR simulators.
- Final Performance at the “Lingua Slam” Science Battle.
The winner of the competition is traditionally chosen by the audience through applause.
Following the event, the best research projects will be recommended for publication in the international peer-reviewed academic journal "Vestnik Sovremennoy Nauki. Seriya: Studencheskiye Nauki".
